Job Description:

We have an excellent opportunity for a J2EE Java Developer to work with our team located in St. Louis, Missouri.  This position will work closely with the project team in the area of Object Oriented, web-based application development. 

Required Skills:

• Object Oriented Design and Implementation Experience (3+ years)
• Java experience including servlet, JSP, and application server implementation of J2EE containers (3+ years)
• Strong HTML, JavaScript and CSS development skills
• Experience interfacing with relational databases utilizing JDBC/SQL
• Experience with J2EE application servers, i.e., IBM Websphere, BEA WebLogic, etc (3+ years)
• XML and Struts (or other MVC framework) experience
• Understanding of version control and change management processes is a must
• Detail-oriented with solid verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Skills:

• Unified Process Methodology experience
• Object Oriented Design patterns application experience
• Object Oriented Analysis and Use Case development experience
• Experience with JBuilder, the Spring Framework, Hibernate, AJAX, SOAP and DB2 Stored Procedures
• Experience applying the above technologies to the development of n-tier, web-based applications

Responsibilities:

• Perform development tasks
• Transition legacy systems to J2EE

Education / Experience:

• BS plus 5 years of experience or high school plus 8 years of experience
