We have an opportunity for a Project Manager – Application Development. The selected PM will be responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and monitoring activities of one or more project teams involved in the analysis, design, development, and implementation of software applications. This position collaborates with others to define project scope and objectives, identifies required skills and resources for project team, develops detailed works plans, and provides project status. He / She will also conduct interim and post-project reviews and conduct quality assurance audits. In addition, this position anticipates and identifies project issues and risks, recommends solutions, and works with senior management to implement solutions.

Qualifications:

• Expert knowledge of application development (SDLC) from planning and inception through implementation and post-production support
• Experience in project management and project planning; organizing and prioritizing multiple tasks
• Experience in gathering, analyzing and documenting business requirements
• Experience in requirements traceability through the development life cycle
• Good knowledge of Rational ClearQuest or change tracking tools
• Good knowledge of MS Project
• Proficient knowledge of standard desktop application software
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle proprietary and sensitive information in a confidential manner
• Bachelors Degree and six to ten years related experience OR equivalent combination of education and/or experience
