We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Manager, IT Security. The selected individual will lead a team of Security Analyst responsible for continuously identifying security threats and planning solutions to defend against them.  The Senior Manager will be responsible for defining the goals, objectives, processes, and resources to support the overall strategic vision of area. This position directs people management activities including career planning/support, training, interviewing, hiring, rewarding, disciplining, and performance and salary reviews. He or she will be responsible for developing and retaining strong performers and preparing them for future responsibilities.  Responsibilities include defining the level of quality standards for products and services; ensuring adherence; and promoting continuous improvement. Position typically includes direct responsibility for people management including career planning/support, training, interviewing, hiring, rewarding, disciplining, and performance and salary reviews.  This position will be required to effectively engage third party resource teams and to negotiate and manage results as agreed upon and determined suitable to activity.

Requirements:

• 3+ years experience managing one or more teams in complex business environment
• 3+ years of proven success in IT leadership and people management
• Ability to handle proprietary and sensitive information in a confidential manner
• Ability to balance risk with business priorities and applies the appropriate sense of urgency
• Commitment to cost controls and effective measures to reduce expense
• Exceptional communications both verbal and written
• Ability to establish effective relationships within all levels of the organization
• Known as proven decision maker with balanced, solid judgment
• Previous proven work within IT Security will be highly desired and those with said experience will be considered first
• Possess strong analytical skill
• Very organized and capable of prioritizing own work load and work load of others
• Highly adaptable to rapidly changing environment and situations
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred
