We have an opportunity for a Technical Project Manager.  The selected candidate will manage web development projects.  This includes gathering requirements, developing project estimates and plans, assessing risks of technology development, managing a development team, and managing and reporting project budgets and schedules.  Excellent communication skills are required (verbal and written).

Requirements:

• 3+ years experience in project management of software development and deployment
• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements
• Experience with database-driven internet application development
• Experience with Systems Development Methodologies in support of the Systems Development Life Cycle
• Solid project and time management skills
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities
• Results-oriented self starter with the ability to deliver projects on time and within budget
• Web development and/or systems integration experience (desired)
• Working knowledge of HTML, SQL, and programming (desired)
• A Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Role / Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage project scope, schedules and budgets
• Manage multiple project deliverables
• Manage project teams that may consist of Information Architects, Graphic Designers, Quality Assurance Analysts and Developers
• Interact with the client
• Manage short-term needs with an understanding of “the big picture” and keep an eye towards an overall future plan
